Meet Thora Jo Thora Jo is a stunning, just-over-one-year-old female Cane Corso with a gentle heart and soulful eyes. She’s a bit shy at first meet, but once she feels safe, she warms up into a loyal, affectionate companion. Thora Jo is house-trained, crate-trained, and has lived peacefully with both a small dog and a male Corso. She’s also wonderful with kids and would thrive in a home where she has another friendly dog to bond and play with. Children are a bonus—she enjoys their company and calm energy. Thora Jo lost her home when her family had to move back to California and could only take two of their dogs. Thankfully, she found her way to us. She’s currently getting her cherry eye corrected and will be spayed before adoption. Thora Jo is available through Arizona Mastiff Rescue and is currently located in Phoenix, Arizona. We do not ship or transport our dogs—approved adopters must come to meet her in person. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Thora Jo was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Thora Jo’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Thora Jo’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Thora Jo’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
