About this Dog
Benny is a 7yr old spayed Husky/ Shepard mix. She has two different colored, beautiful eyes & the biggest smile you've probably ever seen on a dog that will brighten your day no matter how bad it is. She is very sweet, good natured, intelligent & learns pretty quickly. She loves her tennis balls & loves to play fetch- no matter how far, or near, you throw the ball. She loves to be the one to take you for walks & even though she leads with her nose, she will let you try to take the lead. Knows basic commands like sit, lay down, stay and leave it. Will shake & give you a high five for treats. She is house broken & will use a doggie door but if you don't have one-no worries, she will also let you know when she wants you to open the door & go out with her. She loves to be with people but has not had a lot of experience with small children and even tho she lived with other dogs in the past I am not too sure how well she would do with dogs now and is prolly best on her own.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Benny was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Benny’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Benny’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Benny’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
