About this Dog
MEET HANS! Hans is a 50 lb goofball with a heart full of love and a nose for fun. He was found abandoned in a field after his previous owners moved away, but that hasn’t dampened his spirit — he’s eager to please, full of personality, and loves making his people laugh. Hans is gentle with small dogs, submissive to larger ones, and prefers play over conflict — he’s all heart, no ego. He knows basic commands, is house trained, and thrives when he has a job to do or an adventure to go on. Without enough stimulation, he’ll happily “redecorate” with cushions and blankets. He’s also an expert chain-link fence climber, so a tall, solid wall is a must. Hans should always be on leash when outside — his adventurous spirit means he’ll roam if given the chance! Hans can be shy at first with new people, but once he feels safe, he transforms into a lovable goofball who just wants to be part of the fun. Hans Would Thrive In a Home With: • A secure yard with a tall, walled fence (not chain link) • An active person or family who enjoys hiking, walking, and outdoor time • A consistent routine and continued training • Other friendly dogs — he’s a great playmate Hans is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to charm his way into your heart. Contribute to HANS's Stash!

100% of HANS's balance will be sent to whoever adopts HANS.
Adopt HANS and Receive HANS's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, HANS's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is HANS's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the HANS, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming HANS's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and HANS was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, HANS’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the HANS’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, HANS’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
