Remi is a very smart dog. The husky in her is strong with her ability to escape from small openings that she has created. She will always come home, but it is best not to leave her any opportunity to escape in the first place. Remi is very good with other dogs. She likes to be the leader or teacher in the group. She is not aggressive; she is just the one carrying out the rules. She is really good with puppies being so patient and friendly. On the flip side, Remi's friends do not include cats, squirrels and the like. Her prey drive is high with these creatures. Remi needs activity and a job. If she gets bored, she will try to escape. Remi is crate trained, house trained and doggy door trained. She should be kenneled when left alone or she might be destructive. She likes children and people. Sometimes she will jump up and greet them, but she is working on those manners. She is just so excited to see someone! Remi is a very happy and loving pet. She will sit by you, but she is not a big snuggler. It would be fantastic if she could get more training and any activities that stimulates her brain. She doesn't mind a quick brush, will tolerate a bath, and does not bark often. Remi will make someone a great companion. Meet Remi today! For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and REMI #5 was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, REMI #5’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the REMI #5’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, REMI #5’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
