Approx. DOB 4/16/2024 | Meet Sage! This sweet guy was rescued from a home with too many cats, may have not been getting a lot of attention. So, he's shy and cautious at first. But give him 72 hours of patience (and a few tasty meals), and his sweet, personality starts to shine. Once Sage knows you, he will chat with you and happily greet you with meows and rub against your legs (watch your step!). He loves long pets down his back and his daily brushings, loves scritches on his head and cheeks. He is flinchy if you reach directly at his face. He'll purr nonstop when he's enjoying your company and may follow you around to remind you he's there. Sage has gently swatted when overstimulated or if you walk away too soon for his liking, so a cat-savvy home without small children is best. He enjoys the company of friendly cats and dogs, though he's still learning proper feline social skills. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sage De Fleur was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sage De Fleur’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Sage De Fleur’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sage De Fleur’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
