He isn't crazy about being picked up but once he realizes you are giving pets and snuggles, he gives in. He may hang back at first, quietly observing the actionbut give him a moment, and he'll be zooming around with his siblings in no time! Jack is still building confidence with people, so slow, gentle movements are key to helping him feel safe. While he may be the first to dart away when you enter the room, with patience and love, Jack is learning that snuggles can be pretty greatespecially after a big play session. He absolutely loves toys and thrives in the company of other cats, so a home with a feline friend is preferred, but is a must if you are gone for long periods of time. Because of his timid nature, Jack would do best in a household with children 8 years or older who can respect his boundaries. Jack is ready to bring joy, laughter, and quiet companionship to a patient, loving home. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Jack Pepboys was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Jack Pepboys’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Jack Pepboys’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Jack Pepboys’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
