This small 54 lb purebred GSD is as sweet and shy as she can be! Rose is smart, but skittish and timid. An intelligent girl, she learns new things quickly and is an avid learner! She will need a patient adopter willing to give her some time to warm up and trust, though. She's a great car rider and walks well on a leash. She loves her ball and is a great "Fetch" player! She can entertain herself without issue, and is very gentle with an great disposition. Unfortunately she is unsure of herself around other dogs, so she will need to be the only dog in the home. She is also not good with cats. She is great with teenage kids, but because of her skittish nature, would do best with only older kids in the home (12+). Rose tends to prefer and enjoy the company of women more than men....men seem to be too scary for her, so a single woman could be the perfect opportunity for her! She is already housebroken AND crate trained! Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, ROSE's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and ROSE was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, ROSE’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the ROSE’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, ROSE’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
