MEET ARCHIE! Archie is a 3-year-old, 17 lb Chihuahua mix with a big personality wrapped in a little body. He’s energetic, affectionate, and full of love — once he trusts you. Like many small dogs, Archie is a bit wary of strangers and needs time to warm up, but when he does, he bonds deeply and becomes an incredibly loyal companion. He’s house trained, kennel trained, walks well on leash, and loves his daily outings. While he’s generally good with other dogs, he prefers canine friends who respect his space — no nosey pups in his face, please. A proper introduction is a must. Archie would do best in a home without cats or children and thrives in a calm, predictable environment. Archie is not a fan of car rides and is happiest just hanging out at home with his person. He’s the perfect match for a quiet household with one or two adults who understand and respect his need for space when new people visit. He may need to be kenneled during guest visits, and he’s okay with that! For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and ARCHIE was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, ARCHIE’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the ARCHIE’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, ARCHIE’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
