About this Dog
MEET BRUCE! Bruce is a 5-year-old brindle mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He’s house trained, food-motivated, and knows all the basics like “sit,” “down,” “stay,” and “place.” While he’s not the cuddly type, Bruce is incredibly loyal and always excited to see his people — complete with happy tail wags and enthusiastic jumps (watch out, he doesn’t quite realize how hefty he is!). This goofy guy has some funny habits, like gently nibbling on couch cushions (no damage — just a quirk!) and rolling around on his back with his tongue out like a clown. He loves car rides, is great at playing catch, and keeps his foster laughing with his expressive, sometimes bashful looks. Bruce is calm and well-behaved at home, even when left alone, but he can be protective and reactive on walks. He’s best walked during quieter hours, and he needs an owner who can handle his strength and guide him with confidence. Bruce should be the only pet in the home and is not a match for cats, small animals, or young kids due to his size and sensitivity to fast movements. Bruce Would Thrive In a Home With: • No other pets or young children • A calm, quiet household with minimal visitors • A secure, fenced yard (6 ft required) • An experienced dog owner comfortable with reactivity and continued training • Patience, structure, and room for him to be his goofy, loyal self Bruce is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to find a home that will appreciate all his unique qualities. 100% of BRUCE's balance will be sent to whoever adopts BRUCE.
Adopt BRUCE and Receive BRUCE's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, BRUCE's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is BRUCE's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the BRUCE, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming BRUCE's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and BRUCE was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, BRUCE’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the BRUCE’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, BRUCE’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
