About this Dog
Silly, wiggly, quirky 11 year old with the energy of a dog half her age. Tap dances and talks for her food. Loves people, experienced with kids 8+. No direct experience with livestock or cats but hasn't shown much interest in passing. Would do better with submissive dogs her own size and would require introduction/supervision initially. Not fond of crates but experienced. She has some separation anxiety and prefers to be free to follow her people and lounge on the couch. Would benefit from a home with a doggie door or frequent potty breaks, as she has to go often. Best suited for a home with a fenced back yard. Ginger came into my family of 5 as a rescue at 8 weeks old. She has been with me through good times and bad. Unfortunately, last summer, I lost my job. 6 weeks later, my partner was murdered, and 7 weeks later I lost my home. I have been fighting to keep my dogs with me (I have 3) through it all, but I have come to a point where I've had to stay in a tent in the desert to keep us together, which is not fair to them, and prevents me from being able to keep them secure so I can work. As heartbreaking as it is for me, she deserves to go live her last years in a safe, stable, comfortable home.

After verifying the adoption, Ginger Ann's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Ginger Ann was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Ginger Ann’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
