About this Dog
Maddie (A125467) is a 3-year-old rottie mix who weighed over 70 lbs at intake!Foster update: Maddie did great in foster! She was said to walk well on a leash and likes to be with her person! Maddie is excellent when it comes to her medicated baths and takes her meds well. She will need to be on medication for life for suspected allergies and on a limited-ingredient diet. If you are interested in meeting Miss Maddie and feel that you can keep up with her medical needs, please let us know! 05/30/25 Sweet Miss Maddie first arrived at the shelter three-and-a-half years ago with her siblings as babies. She now is back and looking for a new home due to no fault of her own. Miss Maddie is rocking a unique look at this current moment due to some health issues that she has seen the shelter veterinarian for. She was sent to foster to be started on treatment until cleared for adoption. Maddie was said to do wonderful with kids, strangers and other dogs. She was said to live peacefully alongside a cat until a new dog entered the home and taught her that chasing cats is good fun. She may be able to assimilate into a home with a cat, but please use caution when doing so. We don't know just how deep the other dog's influence runs. Maddie was said to ride well in the car and to be kennel trained and housebroken. She was described as being outgoing, friendly, affectionate and gentle and was said to love being in your lap! She also knows a few basic commands, such as sit, lay and kennel. If you are interested in meeting Miss Maddie, please give us a call!

Adopt MADDIE and Receive MADDIE's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, MADDIE's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is MADDIE's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the MADDIE, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming MADDIE's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and MADDIE was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, MADDIE’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the MADDIE’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, MADDIE’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
