Bandit (A139203) is a 2-year-old hound mix who weighed almost 90 lbs at intake!08/02/25 This big handsome goof is Bandit! Bandit was brought to the shelter due to no fault of his own. He was described as being gentle, friendly and affectionate! He is used to being loose in the house and was said to be housebroken. He was also said to get along well with kids and babies. He has been known to bark at strangers and other dogs. Bandit's previous owners thought he would do best as the only pet in the home. He was said to be pushy with other dogs and to be very people-focused, so he is looking for a home where he can cuddle with his favorite humans and not have to share! Bandit was said to ride well in the car and to generally mind well, but he follows his nose! He could also learn some good leash manners! For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and BANDIT was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, BANDIT’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the BANDIT’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, BANDIT’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
