About this Dog
Princess (A138470) is a 5-year-old AK Husky x Siberian Husky mix who weighed just under 40 pounds on intake. 05/22/25 Princess was surrendered with 3 of her friends and they are all looking for their new homes! All these pups were stated to have experience skijoring and as sled dogs! They were stated to get very excited when they see the harness and know all their commands (Gee, Haw, Ready, Hike). They are used to living outdoors on dog houses. If you plan on transitioning them indoors, they we will need help with adjusting to the indoor life â potty training is a biggy! They were all described as shy but friendly pups who do well with slow introductions to new people. Huskies are known for their high prey drive and would do best in a home without smaller animals. They previously lived in a big sled dog yard and were said to do well with other dogs! If given the opportunity, they will jump fences and are known to jump on people when greeting them. They would love to find a rec team to join or an active owner who can get them out on adventures, whether it be bikejoring or skijoring in the winter months! If you are interested in meeting Princess, please let us know!

Adopt PRINCESS and Receive PRINCESS's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, PRINCESS's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is PRINCESS's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the PRINCESS, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming PRINCESS's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and PRINCESS was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, PRINCESS’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the PRINCESS’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, PRINCESS’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
