About this Dog
Sabot (A139035) is a 5-year-old American Pitbull Terrier who weighed 68.5 pounds on intake! 07/14/25 This lover boy is Sabot! However, too much love in the past has gotten him in trouble with other dogs. Sabot was said to do well with female dogs, but can be âiffyâ with male dogs â especially when there is a female in heat around. Sabot may prefer a home with no other male dogs to help set him up for success. He was said to do well with the cats in his previous home, but he had never met cats from outside the home. Please ensure you are making slow, safe, and controlled introductions with all new animals. He was described as having a gentle play style and likes to play bow and bounce around. Sabot was also said to do great with children, strangers, and adults. He was also said to be kennel trained, housebroken, rides well in a car, and knows his basic commands: sit, down, stay, speak, and come! Sabot was known to be quite the grunter/talker. He was also said to enjoy lounging on the couch and hanging out with his people. Courtesy of the shelter fund, Sabot was sent out for a dental and radiographs! He is in tip top shape and ready for adoption! If you are interested in meeting Sabot, please let us know!

Adopt SABOT and Receive SABOT's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, SABOT's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is SABOT's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the SABOT, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming SABOT's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and SABOT was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, SABOT’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the SABOT’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, SABOT’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
