??Thor is just happy to be meeting new people and seeing new things, which he got a lot of this morning when he was featured on MIX 103.1 as this weekâs âPet of the Weekâ. This happy 5 year old husky mix is currently our longest canine residents here at the shelter, and considering how amazing his personality is, and how great he is with everything, we assume he hasnât been adopted at this point because his perfect home just hasnât found him yet. Hopefully this post reaches his future family because despite Thorâs constant positive attitude here in the shelter we know he would much rather be curling up on the couch with you every night.????Thor is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, affectionate, playful, gentle, friendly, and all around the perfectdog for any home. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and THOR was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, THOR’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the THOR’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, THOR’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
