Please read ALL below where you will find answers about the pet, our adoption fees and how to do our adoption application! Pet Description: Millie is a two-year-old, female Beagle mix, ~20 lbs. She is a sweet gal but also very shy at first with strangers. Sadly she started escaping their 4' chain link fence so came back to us for her safety, but we know she is good in a 6' privacy fence. She is good in the house, good with adult cats, good with dogs her size or larger but plays far too rough with smaller dogs. No to young children as they seem to make her nervous so teens and older please. She is crate trained, loves tummy rubs and toys. Doesn't like going out in the rain. Walks well on a leash. DOG ADOPTION FEE is $100. This Adoption fee includes: mandatory spay/neuter which will be done before you can take your dog or puppy home with you; basic canine immunizations (DHPP-CPV & Bordatella Intranasal); de-wormings; one-year rabies vaccination if old enough; heartworm test if over five months old; microchip from 24-Pet Watch; certificate for free health examination at your participating veterinarian; and a goodie bag chocked full of information, toys, and more. (If a dog is sponsored or has a waived or lower fee, that info will be provided at the point of adoption to the approved adopter). For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and 250575 Millie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, 250575 Millie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the 250575 Millie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, 250575 Millie’s balance will remain in our general fund.
