About this Dog
Please read ALL below where you will find answers about the pet, our adoption fees and how to do our adoption application! Pet Description: BitBit is a female Dachshund, two-years-old, 19 lbs. She was brought by her owner who said she was moving and could not take her. BitBit has only been with this one adult. She told us BitBit had never been around other dogs or cats but she is doing just fine with them at our Shelter. She also told is BitBit is ok with older children. BitBit's challenge is she has been bonded to ONE person and that is what she wants - when she latches onto ONE person she doesn't want any other person to get near her person. She is definitely a lap dog, and wants to be IN your lap all the time. Be aware that she takes protecting her person very seriously - best with a single owner who wants a dog that will be their world. DOG ADOPTION FEE is $100. This Adoption fee includes: mandatory spay/neuter which will be done before you can take your dog or puppy home with you; basic canine immunizations (DHPP-CPV & Bordatella Intranasal); de-wormings; one-year rabies vaccination if old enough; heartworm test if over five months old; microchip from 24-Pet Watch; certificate for free health examination at your participating veterinarian; and a goodie bag chocked full of information, toys, and more. (If a dog is sponsored or has a waived or lower fee, that info will be provided at the point of adoption to the approved adopter).
