Pet Description: Peach (orange & white medium coat) and Boo (tortoiseshell short coat) are both females, each seven years old and a BONDED PAIR that must be adopted as INDOOR ONLY. They came to us after their owner's health failed. They were very stressed coming in to our noisy and busy place, surrounded by barking dogs and hid together. They are slowly coming around and they are sweet ladies, good with each other (we have not seen how they might be with other cats) and we were told good with children. NO DOGS though so a cat only home. ADOPTION FEES: Cats & Kittens under one year old are $50.00 but cats over a year old are 'name your adoption fee.' All cat adoptions include......mandatory spay/neuter which will be done before you can take your kitty home with you; basic kitty immunizations (FVR-CP+Calici); de-worming; one-year rabies vaccination if old enough; microchip from 24-Pet Watch; certificate for free health examination at your participating veterinarian; and a goodie bag chocked full of information, toys, etc. The first step is to our Adoption Application here: https://elmorehumane.org/adoption-application-online-form2.html . IMPORTANT – we respond to your emailed applications and queries via email back to you. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and 251018 Peach & Boo was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, 251018 Peach & Boo’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the 251018 Peach & Boo’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, 251018 Peach & Boo’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
