“Hello peasants, I’m Ruby Roo — the elusive, camera-dodging queen of awkward photos and professional ridge model.” Listen, I know what you’re thinking — “Wow, I bet this dog looks amazing in pictures.” WRONG. The moment a camera comes out, I transform into a shy, submissive, floppy noodle with absolutely zero photogenic qualities. But don’t let my tragic photo album fool you — when that lens isn’t pointed at me, I’m a whole different girl. I’m fun, playful, sweet, and basically the life of the dog party. I’m a 10-month-old, 39 lb Rhodesian Ridgeback mix — emphasis on mix, because other than the fancy little ridge down my back, I don’t look much like those sleek, majestic lion hunters. But who needs lions when you’ve got me — certified sweetheart, expert dog-friend, and connoisseur of belly rubs? My adoption fee is $110 and covers all the basics — spay, vaccines, vet exam, parasite testing — so I’ll be ready to roll when I leave this joint. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Ruby Roo 25/394 was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Ruby Roo 25/394’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Ruby Roo 25/394’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Ruby Roo 25/394’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
