About this Dog
NEWBIE ALERT!! Moses came from Semmes, Alabama. He had been abused by a previous owner, then surrendered. His foster picked him up on June 1st. He was very anxious and scared, but calmed down after a few days settling in. He appears to be a Golden mix. I was told that he is less than a year old, he weighs 46 pounds. He is doing well in the house and beginning to walk on a leash. He has warmed up to his foster family considerably in the last 4 weeks. He is very playful and loves any toy you give him! He will need patience as he adjust to a new family and environment. A calmer household would be best. He’s great with other dogs. He’s utd, hw neg (tested below detectable levels) and neutered. Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals. All dogs have a $175 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. Please allow us time to respond to all inquires and applications! Thank you! ADOPTION APPLICATION LINK IN BIO! https://form.jotform.us/70898112177159

Adopt Moses and Receive Moses's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Moses's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Moses's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Moses, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Moses's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Moses was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Moses’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Moses’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Moses’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
