About this Dog
UPDATE!!! ✨ Meet Buck! He was rescued the summer of ‘24 by Good Samaritans from a home where he was severely neglected. Buck is approximately two years old and we think black mouth cur mix. He weighs about 50 pounds. Buck is incredibly sweet, loving, energetic, and gets along with other dogs and cats. Buck was hit by a car and never taken to a vet before he was rescued. Therefore, he has a limp on one of his back legs from this untreated injury. But it does not stop him from running and bouncing and chasing squirrels. Buck is kennel trained and great in the house and we are working on leash training. He is utd, hw neg (tested below detectable levels) and neutered. Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals. All dogs have a $175 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. Please allow us time to respond to all inquires and applications! Thank you! ADOPTION APPLICATION LINK IN BIO! https://form.jotform.us/70898112177159

100% of Buck's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Buck.
Adopt Buck and Receive Buck's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Buck's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Buck's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Buck, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Buck's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Buck was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Buck’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Buck’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Buck’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
