Max was found roaming the streets with a former Krewe dog, and since then, he’s been living his best life in search of belly rubs and tasty treats. His food motivation is strong—he’ll do just about anything for a snack! Max is a social dog who gets along well with other dogs and smaller animals, making him the perfect companion for your furry friends. He’s also a fan of cuddling, so if you’re looking for a snuggly buddy to keep you warm, Max is your guy! While he’s full of love, Max isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed—he might not always get the memo, but he’ll still make you laugh with his goofy antics. He’s not a fan of small children, though, so a home with older kids or adults would be ideal. Max can be a bit loud at times, but he’s just expressing his excitement for life!

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Max was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Max’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Max’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Max’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
