Hi there! I am Lily, a gorgeous young female Swiss Shepherd in need of a loving home. I am a quiet, sweet, and gentle dog, but I haven't had the easiest life and could really use a stable and calm environment. I am a bit nervous around strangers and need time to warm up to people, so I am looking for a patient owner who understands that I am not good with other dogs and have never lived with small children. I love belly rubs, throwing balls, and petting, and with time and patience, I promise to be a loyal and loving companion. I have some medical challenges, but I am a fighter and am sure that with the right care, I will overcome anything. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Lily was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Lily’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Lily’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Lily’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
