About this Dog
Name/Tag#: Rosie 3793 Age: 5 yrs old Sex/Altered: Female/ Spayed Weight: 4.5 lbs Breed: Chihuahua Mix Foster Home Location: OTTAWA, ON Adoption Fee: $750.00 Temperament: Sweet, loving, curious, confident Activity/Energy Level: Low Up to date on Shots: Yes Housebroken: Progressing well as long as you keep her on a schedule Crate Trained: Yes Ok with Dogs: No, should be the only pet Ok with Cats: No, will chase Ok with Kids: 12 yrs or older Origin: Stray Requirements: Securely fenced yard (no apartments/condos), someone home as much as possible or someone that will take her along with them, would do best as the only dog in the home, no kids under 12 years, small dog experience And now, a few words from me: Hey everyone Rosie here, what I lack in size I make up with my big personality. I love playing with toys and chasing around my foster Mom’s fingers. When I get excited, I twirl in circles in front of you to let you know that I want your attention for something. If you walk away, I will be right behind you putting my little paws on your leg. I love nothing more than joining you in everything that you do. I’m a very brave little girl and I love going out for short walks around the neighbourhood. When I meet people I have a tendency to bark at them; it is just my way of trying to let everyone know, hey, look down here and see me please! I require a secure backyard, you see as much as I love being with people I do look for the smallest hole to escape, I think I still have the party girl personality wanting to go out for a romp. As a typical Chihuahua, I do like to hear my voice at times, so a single-family home is what I’m looking for. And now, a few words from my foster mom: Rosie is a super sweet girl who would really love to find a home that she can be the centre of attention all the time. She thinks the earth evolves around her. She can find it hard to share your attention with other dogs. This is why the best home for Rosie would be one where she is the only pet. Rosie loves children, it would be better if the children were 12 yrs and older, because she is quite small, she could be accidentally injured with younger children. If you think Rosie would be a great fit for your home, please put an application in for her, you will fall in love with her instantly; it would be very hard not to.

100% of Rosie's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Rosie.
Adopt Rosie and Receive Rosie's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Rosie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Rosie's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Rosie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Rosie's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Rosie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Rosie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Rosie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Rosie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
