About this Cat
Afin d'avoir une chance de l'adopter, veuillez remplir notre formulaire d'adoption directement sur notre site web: https://www.reseausecoursanimal.org/nous-contacter/formulaire-adoption/ Faramir arrived at the Animal Rescue Network in February 2022 with his brother Boromir. Both came from a colony of indoor cats that had 37 unneutered cats and kittens living in the same household. A kind-hearted person wanted to sterilize all the cats and relocate them where they would be well cared for. That's how Faramir came to us. Traumatized by this change, Faramir took a long time to open up to us. Now we can pet him and brush him without worry. He's still shy, and will hiss if you approach him too quickly, but when you're gentle, he'll let himself go. He has a sweet tooth, which has helped his socialization! He loves the presence of other cats and this would certainly help him adapt well to his future adoptive family. However, he would not be a good match for a family with children or a dog. Faramir has conquered his fear of humans and now appreciates cuddles, even those on his bottom. Who's going to want to open their home to this handsome, sometimes grumpy-looking redhead? Faramir is an adult cat therefore the adoption fees for him are $290. He is sterilized, vaccinated, microchipped and negative for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and feline leukemia (FeLV). You will also be provided with health insurances for the first 6 weeks following adoption. You will also have access to the support of the adoption team for as long as you need it. You will also have access to a free 30 minutes video consultation within the first month following adoption with our cat behaviour consultant FelineGood (https://www.felinegood.ca). In order to get a chance to adopt him, please fill out our adoption directly on our website: https://www.reseausecoursanimal.org/contacts/adoption-form/

Adopt Faramir and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Faramir's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Faramir's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Faramir, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Faramir's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Faramir was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Faramir’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Faramir’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Faramir’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
