Derrière son allure majestueuse, Barry cache un gros bébé au cœur tendre. Timide dans les environnements inconnus, il a besoin d’un peu de temps pour se sentir pleinement à l’aise — mais une fois la confiance installée, il se transforme en véritable machine à câlins. Il adore venir se blottir contre l’humain la nuit et a gardé son âme de bébé, avec parfois une envie déterminée de téter doigts, oreilles ou bout du nez. Grand amateur de jeux, il aime les sessions bagarre avec ses frères et sœurs, mais reste un petit cœur sensible qui appréciera un foyer sécurisant et rempli de tendresse. Il a déjà côtoyé plusieurs chiens, même s’il peut se montrer plus impressionné au début. A great lover of games, he would like to have fights with his brothers and sisters, but remains a sensitive little heart who will appreciate a secure home filled with tenderness. He's already been around several dogs, although he may be more impressed at first. But as soon as he sees that the atmosphere is calm and there's no danger, he quickly regains confidence and adapts perfectly. Barry is a kitten therefore the adoption fees for him are $340. He is sterilized, vaccinated and microchipped. He tested negative for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and for feline leukemia (FeLV). You will also be provided with health insurances for the first 6 weeks following adoption. You will also have access to the support of the adoption team for as long as you need it. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Barry was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Barry’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Barry’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Barry’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
