About this Dog
Meet Breeze! He is a neutered, 5 year old, German Wire Haired Pointer and Poodle mix. He does have some trust issues, so meeting new people is very stressful for him. That being said, once he knows you, he will give you so much love. Breeze loves treats, cuddling and going for walks. He tends to do better with women than men. His ideal home would be a small family that has no kids and is experiened with medium to large dogs. He would likely be fine with another dog, but cats would likely be a no based on his breed. A house would be best as apartments/condos have too many new people that he may run into in close quarters. He would love to have a fenced in yard. Breeze would greatly benefit from having a trainer to work on his fear of new people. Anyone that is interested will likely have to do a few meet and greets before taking him home so he can get used to you first. If interested please call 905-832-2281 or email [email protected] to set up a âmeet-and-greetâ!Name: BreezeBreed: German Wire haired pointer X PoodleWeight: 50 lbsGender: MaleSpayed/Neutered: Neutered and microchippedAge: 5 years oldReason for Intake: StrayMedical: DA2PP; Rabies; Kennel cough, heartworm tested, Advantage mutli, DewormedGood with Dogs: Good with mostGood with Cats: Unsure Good with Kids: NoBehavior: Active, fearful of new people, affectionate and friendly once he knows youHouse Trained: NoCrate Trained: UnknownDestructive: NoLeash Skills: Needs some workKnown Commands: Sit, pawFood: Science Diet Adult
Contribute to BREEZE's Stash!

100% of BREEZE's balance will be sent to whoever adopts BREEZE.
Adopt BREEZE and Receive BREEZE's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, BREEZE's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is BREEZE's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the BREEZE, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming BREEZE's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and BREEZE was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, BREEZE’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the BREEZE’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, BREEZE’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
