About this Dog
Charlie is a very happy boy. He’s definitely a people dog. He gets really sad when you stop petting him as he loves attention and love. He’s a sucker for food and always eats for his caregivers. He entertains them by doing prances whenever he sees his food coming. And he takes treats super gently. He’s a fan of the sunrays and loves to lounge. He does very well in a crate or kennel when needed, and has never had an accident inside! Charlie can be a bit reactive in stressful and high energy situations, so he needs a calm environment to thrive in. He would probably do best as the only animal in his household. We know he’s not great with little dogs, but we have yet to experiment him with dogs his size or bigger. It doesn’t take long to be one of Charlie's favorite people. He adapts to new routines very well. He would be an awesome companion to someone who needs a Charlie.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Charlie Brown was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Charlie Brown’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Charlie Brown’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Charlie Brown’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
