While I can’t quite teach you myself, my foster mom has been learning ASL to help me communicate — and I’m a super quick learner! I already know plenty of fun signs and commands, and I’m eager to keep impressing you.You know how losing one sense can sharpen the others? Well, I’m pretty sure I have the best nose in town! And just because I can’t hear doesn’t mean I’m quiet — I’m quite the chatterbox, with a whole symphony of funny noises to keep you entertained. (Heads up: I might not be the best fit for apartment or condo living because of my vocal nature.) Luckily, I LOVE spending time outdoors — chasing bugs in the backyard is my favorite pastime before we curl up for some cozy cuddle sessions.A few things my forever family should know: I do need a little time to adjust to new things and situations. I tend to keep an eye on dogs, cats, rabbits, and squirrels to feel safe, and if they don’t make the first move, I’ll slowly back away. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bea was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bea’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Bea’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bea’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
