About this Cat
ZIRCON hails from the Dryden area and came south along with his mum, Gem and her Gemettes, Amethyst and Tiger Eye, to find his forever home. He’s had his first set of vaccines, a microchip, dewormer and been deemed a healthy boy by his vet. This boy is as adventurous as they come and full of beans. He’s the most outgoing of the three kittens and very friendly. He’s also very entertaining as he gets up to all sorts of mischief as he has to investigate everything he sees. ZIRCON is litter box trained and he’s never had an accident outside of the box. He loves to eat both kibble and wet food but his favourite thing of all is to eat Temptations treats especially just before he’s told nite, nite. Chasing crinkly toys around is one of his favourite pastimes and he’s just discovered a little mouse toy that he’ll carry around with him. He’s definitely one of the most charismatic cats around too as he loves attention and knows just how to get it from you. He’s in a foster home with puppies so would be comfortable in a home with a dog as long as the dog is cat savvy and a slow, monitored introduction is made. There’s also a cat in the foster home so he would suit being with another cat but will be equally as happy being on his own as long as he’s not left fir long periods of time on his own. Children should be aged 6 plus and be gentle, loving and caring towards animals. ZIRCON’s neuter will be performed at 4 months of age and will be booked by the time of his adoption and we do need his adopter to be committed to his neuter being perforrmed on that date and being available to drive him to the appointment. The neuter timing is part of his adoption agreement. His neuter can be done at his adopters own vet clinic and the rescue will reimburse what we would’ve paid for it at the Barrie SPCA. However, it would still have to performed in the same timeframe to receive the reimbursement. We also require a picture of him preferably in his cone as we always post pictures of our animals when they get spay/neutered and post them in our fb page. If you would like to meet ZIRCON then please put in an adoption application.

Adopt ZIRCON and Receive ZIRCON's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, ZIRCON's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is ZIRCON's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the ZIRCON, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming ZIRCON's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and ZIRCON was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, ZIRCON’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the ZIRCON’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, ZIRCON’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
