About this Dog
PARSLEY hails from North Spirit Lake in Northern Ontario and headed south to find his living family. He’s neutered, vaccinated including his rabies shot, microchipped and been given a clean bill of health by his vet. We have no knowledge of his parents so his breeds are just a guess based on what we figure he looks like. He’s full grown so we know that’s the size he’ll be give or take a few pounds. He’s a calm, loving dog and is very sweet with people. PARSLEY is crate trained and will sleep quietly in it at night and will also take naps in it during the day. He’s housetrained and will let you know when he wants to go outside for a bathroom break. He walks well on his leash and really enjoys going on his walks and gets excited when he knows he’s going. When he first went to his foster home he didn’t know how to play with toys as he’d never had any before. We’re happy to say that once he settled into the home more he started to play with the toys and running around with them, he even has a few favourites that he’ll be taking to his new home with him. He also enjoys running around the yard with his toys and he’s even started to play fetch. He’s fostered in a home with 2 female dogs and they get along really well together so he would suit a home with another dog. He was quite nervous of other dogs when he came into the rescue but he’s now a lot more social and doesn’t shy away from meeting new dogs. PARSLEY would love an active family that likes to go on adventures, long walks and hikes in the woods. He’s in a foster home with a very dog savvy 5yr old and he’s very gentle around her so he would suit a home with children but they should be aged 6 and up and be gentle, carny and loving towards animals. To our knowledge he hadn’t met a cat so we’re not recommending he be in a home with one. He does require a fenced yard so he can play outside and run around safely. We do recommend that his new owner take him to trading/obedience classes as he’s never had any formal training plus it will help to form a bond with him and his new owner and turn him into an all round great dog. If PARSLEY sounds like a dog that will fit into your family then please submit an adoption application to meet him.

Adopt PARSLEY and Receive PARSLEY's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, PARSLEY's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is PARSLEY's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the PARSLEY, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming PARSLEY's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and PARSLEY was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, PARSLEY’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the PARSLEY’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, PARSLEY’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
