Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…
Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

Cats in Crisis is a small rescue that was started in January 2014 after seeing a cry for help with a property that had over 80 cats and kittens to feed. We worked hard to have all their vet work done and cats/kittens re-homed.
Since then we have continued to take in stray and abandoned cats and kittens to re-home when all vet work is completed. We also work in hoarding situations to promote healthy pet ownership.
We are a small group of volunteers that have a passion for cats in need. Between us we have had years of experience caring for cats and kittens including hand raising newborns. We rely on the generosity of the public to help us with donations of good quality wet and dry food for adult cats as well as kittens.
We also accept new or good quality items to be used in our auctions and garage sales. All money raised is paid to our Vet Clinic as well as going towards the continuous care of our cats and kittens in foster homes.
