About this Dog
Pru is a special little gal, in more ways than one. A little over a year old, she is a happy, playful, friendly girl with energy and love in spades. She is crate trained, but is still working on potty training due to some unique circumstances. You may notice that Pru doesn’t use her back legs. A spinal injury that occurred prior to her coming into our rescue has caused this, and over time the use of her back legs will continue to decrease.Don’t let this fool you or stop you, because it sure doesn’t stop Pru! She will run to her heart’s content, with or without her recently acquired new wheels. She is great with dogs of all sizes, seems to do well with cats and is fantastic with children. Pru rides well in the car and is doing well on the leash. She definitely LOVES to soak up any and all attention and love she can. At this point Pru is house trained but not potty trained. She does have accidents in the house and we are working on it to see if this can be controlled by implementing a strict potty schedule. Pru can be a little scared of new things but otherwise loves to cuddle and wants to be near you. We do not know what happened in Pru's past life, but we will make sure that her future continues to be bright. Due to her medical condition and ongoing medical needs, we will waive the adoption fee to an approved adopter. An ideal home for Pru would have minimal to no steps, but is not a requirement.

Adopt Pru (special needs) and Receive Pru (special needs)'s Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Pru (special needs)'s new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Pru (special needs)'s current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Pru (special needs), thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Pru (special needs)'s contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Pru (special needs) was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Pru (special needs)’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Pru (special needs)’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Pru (special needs)’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
