About this Cat
Greetings…I’m KENO (I’m bonded to Kato, my brother) I’m a 2-year-old gray domestic short hair with special cream-colored markings on my front legs which look like I’m wearing knee socks. I’m told I have a very cute face, and my fur is very soft. When you look at Kato’s photo, who would think we are brothers, but we are and best friends at that. We have been in a foster home for 5 months and foster mom claims we are perfect gentlemen and easy-going kitties. It took a little time to adjust to because we didn’t receive a lot of attention as kittens, but boy are we happy now to be spoiled. My brother Kato is very special to me, and I would be sad to be separated from him, so we’ll need to be adopted together. We entertain each other running in and out of the collapsible cube toy and Kato tries to flatten it sometimes with me in it (lol). We both get so excited when it’s playtime with the feather wand with the long string, another favorite activity. While we’re not playing, bird and squirrel watching from the window perched on our side-by-side cat trees keeps us entertained most of the day and foster mom plays cat videos for us. Interactions with the cat friendly senior Standard Poodle have been fine (we ignore each other). There are resident felines and also our previous home was shared with many cats and a small dog, so we should be fine with other laid-back companions with proper introduction. I would be best suited in a family home with older children who would provide interaction and companionship. We have perfect litter box manners and use scratching posts. Our diet is quality canned and dry food (it keeps my hair so soft). I have all claws and weigh 10 lbs., neutered, fully vaccinated, FIV/FeLV negative and microchipped and must be indoor only. I’m ready to begin a new chapter in kitty life...will you be that special and forever family to Kato and me? .

Adopt Keno 5990 and Receive Keno 5990's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Keno 5990's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Keno 5990's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Keno 5990, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Keno 5990's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Keno 5990 was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Keno 5990’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Keno 5990’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Keno 5990’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
