About this Dog
Piper is a lively and energetic little lady who came to us when her previous owner was no longer able to care for her. She’s a pittie mix, about 4 ½ years old, and is currently thriving in a foster home near Binghamton, NY. Piper would be best as an only pet, as she isn’t a fan of other dogs or cats. She’s great with older kids who can match her energy and enthusiasm. This playful pup absolutely loves to run and play—she’ll definitely help keep you active! With her radiant smile, Piper is full of personality, but she does need a patient home. She’s shy at first and takes time to warm up, but once she feels safe, her love and joy truly shine. Piper is spayed, fully vetted, housebroken, and crate trained. All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, de-wormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heart-worm tested, and treated if necessary. Vet references and a home/family visit are required, and an adoption fee applies. Transport options are available within our area of operation, including Pennsylvania, the tri-state area, and New England. Please note we do not adopt animals into Canada. 100% of Piper's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Piper.
Adopt Piper and Receive Piper's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Piper's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Piper's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Piper, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Piper's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Piper was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Piper’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Piper’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Piper’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
