Beautiful girl wants to know why no one has applied to adopt her Kallie was adopted as a three month old kitten from us in September 2020 by someone who had previously adopted another cat from us and she came back to us in May of 2024 . The person had moved some place where she could only have one cat and that means Kallie lost her home . That made us and Kallie very sad, when we adopt out our kitties we want them to be going to a FOREVER home. Kallie is a sweet girl, who loves to lounge on a cat tree, shelf, or on a blanket. She can be a quiet kitty sometimes, but when she wants attention, she gets excited and may walk around you in circles to be pet. Then she’ll settle into a comfy spot and roll around for more attention. She did live with kids and another at cat one time but, she would be totally happy as a single cat in a home with someone who will love her. She didn't think when we got her back in May 2024 that no one would be interested in her in an entire year (and neither did we). She's a girl looking for someone to love her forever. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Kallie S. was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Kallie S.’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Kallie S.’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Kallie S.’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
