About this Rabbit
Hi there, I’m Jelly Bean — your future best friend, breakfast cheerleader, and professional cardboard-box flipper! I’m a spirited English Spot girl with a dazzling white coat, bold black markings, and a heart full of binkies just waiting to burst out. I was born into the rescue, and while I may be the baby of the bunch, don’t let that fool you — I’m the explorer, the entertainer, the life of the x-pen. But here’s the twist in my tale: I come as a package deal with the most important bun in my life — my mom, Retta. She's my rock, my snuggle buddy, and my forever partner in hop. You see, Retta’s been through some tough times — she was rescued from the side of a country road (yep, that news story), and she’s worked hard to learn to trust again. She’s cautious and quiet, while I’m curious and bubbly. Retta’s favorite thing in the world? Me. (Okay, and maybe blueberries.) She’s not super into human attention, but she lights up when I’m around. She’ll need a patient home with lots of love and a calm vibe — bonus points if there are extra bananas on hand. We’re both hay connoisseurs (Timothy only, please — we have standards), and we’re extremely tidy with our litter box habits. I'm all about zoomies, toy tosses, and exploring every nook of my space, while Retta enjoys thoughtful digging and quiet observation. We haven’t met any kids, cats, or dogs, so we’d do best in a peaceful home that lets us keep growing in confidence — together. So, are you ready to welcome a dynamic mother-daughter duo who bring twice the charm, twice the sweetness, and twice the personality? If so, come meet us — I promise I’ll do a binky just for you. *RRMN requires all children be 10+ years old for first time bunny owners and 8+ for those with previous bunny experience. All applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.* If you're interested, please fill out an adoption application at: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com . Gender: Female Approximate birthdate: 6/19/2023 Approximate weight: 4.5 pounds Adoption Fee for Pair: $160.00 (+tax) RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA. If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.

Adopt Jelly Bean and Receive Jelly Bean's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Jelly Bean's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Jelly Bean's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Jelly Bean, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Jelly Bean's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Jelly Bean was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Jelly Bean’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Jelly Bean’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Jelly Bean’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
