This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Meet Beatrice Classic! Beatrice is a spicy little thing with a spunk for life. She is playful, smart, and affectionate. She enjoys romping with big, playful dogs and other robust puppies. She has been working hard on her basic commands, does well in her crate, and rides like a champ tethered in the car. She loves the beach, meeting new people, and making new dog friends. If you are looking for a young, sassy side kick, Beatrice is the one for you! Medical Note: Beatrice has been diagnosed with a vascular ring anomaly that is partially constricting her esophagus. Her case is not too severe, and her clinical symptoms have been limited to ocassional episodes of regurgitation after large meals of chunky food and/or exercise/excitement too soon after eating. You can learn more about her condition or donate to her cause here. We have made great progress in the last few months managing her condition with a simple but strict feeding routine (several meals of canned pate food per day). Beatrice has a huge fan club and community around her that is helping to raise money for a surgery that could potentially fix this condition, but in the meantime, Beatrice is thriving and ready to find her furever home! Beatrice's adopters will have access to a trust fund through the end of 2025 should surgery be required. To see more about our adoption fees, please see HERE . To apply for this dog, fill out an adoption application on our website: www.sosarl.org/aa/ **Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
