About this Dog
Fairbanks is an incredibly sweet, kind and gentle young pup, and he’s ready to find his furever family! His foster mom says that he is the most well-mannered and calmest pup that she’s ever had; truly one of a kind. Fairbanks is a mix, slightly smaller than a standard Pyr, and has a gorgeous, long, off-white very fluffy and soft coat. He’s doing excellent with his studies, and already knows how to walk on leash, as well as “sit,” “come,” and go to his crate on command! He loves his little den, sleeping in his crate every night, and even wandering in on his own when he wants a power nap. He’s medium energy, enjoying well-balanced days of playing with his doggie pals, getting pets and belly rubs from his humans, and chilling out with a good antler or chew toy. He’s a social little man who is calm and polite when meeting new people. He’s laid-back with doggie visitors, and non-reactive to dogs and people when out on walks. He is mature beyond his age, respectful to the older dogs he plays with, and sweet with his kitty and rabbit foster siblings! An ideal home for this beautiful boy is one with another dog, or an active family, that will play with him, shower him with love, and provide ample structure so he continues to grow into a well-behaved dog. Fairbanks also requests a 4’ fence, tennis balls, scrambled eggs, bones, lots of brushings (they feel so good!), and a kiddie pool! Water is so much fun! - he loves to put his snout under water and throw it in the air in an adorable fashion! This gentle guy doesn’t jump and rarely barks, but will alert you to someone knocking at the door, or a critter outside your fence. Fairbanks will surely steal your heart in a minute, so don’t wait to add this fluffy dude to your family - apply today!
