About this Dog
Name: Lilo Nicknames: Lilly Billy, Lee Lee Age or Date of Birth: 2/22/2024 (not exact) Activity Level: Medium-High. I’m a pretty sleepy puppy, but I love to run around and chew on everything I can find when I finally wake up! I’m also very curious, so I love exploring new places. I have trouble staying awake though – I usually don’t last more than an hour before I need another nap. Things I do in my free time: I’m currently teething, so chewing on things is my favorite activity! I chew on sticks, toys, my pittie foster sister, and anything else I can get my mouth on. I love to play chase and tug of war, and I’m a world-class snuggle buddy. Things I know: I know that my kennel is for sleeping and eating. I even nap in my kennel if the couch is unavailable! I’m starting to understand the word NO, but sometimes I just don’t feel like listening. Things I am learning/currently working on: I’m working hard on potty training! I know to walk to the door when I have to go, but sometimes I can’t hold it long enough for my foster mom to get me outside. I’m practicing gentle play with my kitty foster sister, and I’m working on basic commands (sit, stay, lay down). Who I currently live with (humans and animals): Foster mom, 2 cats, and a 1.5-yr-old female dog. How I do with kids: I’m very good with kiddos! My foster mom’s 5-yr-old niece and 7-yr-old nephew come to visit sometimes, and I love to run around with them. I know not to bite at them, even though nibbling on fingers is lots of fun. How I do with dogs: I kept my distance the first day that I met my foster sister, but then I got more comfortable and started to play and cuddle with her. I barked at the neighbor dogs for the first few days at my foster home, but now I like to sniff at them through the fence. I’m very curious about other dogs when I go for walks, but I haven’t tried to meet any of them yet. How I do with cats: I’m fascinated by cats! I like to follow my grumpy foster brother around and sniff at him, but I know to keep my distance. I try to play with my foster sister, but I’m still learning to be gentle with her. My current size: I weighed 15 pounds as of 5/13/24. We’re not sure how big my parents were, so it’s hard to know exactly how big I’ll get. How I do in my kennel: I’m very comfortable in my kennel. My foster mom puts my favorite plushy toys in with me. I don’t get any kennel treats at night, but I get a Kong filled with peanut butter or Greek yogurt when she leaves during the day to keep me happy. How I do in car rides: Car rides make me a little nervous, but I’m getting used to them. Am I house trained: Not quite, but I’m getting there! Sometimes I’m having so much fun that I don’t realize I have to go outside until it’s too late. Additional Info from foster: Lilo is a sweet girl with a huge personality! She’s very playful and silly, and she’s livened up our household since we started fostering her. My animals are all very comfortable with her, even though she can be a little wild at times. Her newest game is stealing shoes/clothes when I’m distracted, then making her chase her to get them back. She loves to cuddle and give kisses, and sometimes she pretends that her legs don’t work so that I’ll pick her up (it always works). If you’re interested in meeting Lilo, please fill out an application on our website, www.mnpitbull.com. We CANNOT move forward until we receive an application. Adopt Lilo and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Lilo's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Lilo's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Lilo, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Lilo's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Lilo was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Lilo’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Lilo’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Lilo’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
