Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…
Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

Comprised completely of volunteer board members and fosters, Tennessee Doberman Rescue Plus (formerly known as A Pinsch of Heaven Doberman Rescue) is an incorporated non-profit 501(c)3 tax exempt organization that is registered and chartered with the state of Tennessee.
Founded in 2009, TDR+ rescues in excess of 75 dogs annually – the majority of which previously suffered from abuse and neglect prior to their new start with rescue. In fact, it is the mission of TDR+ to place dogs in imminent danger of euthanasia, neglect, or abuse of above all others, and to get them the medical and training resources needed to be rehabilitated and re-homed.
