Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…
Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

Furbiscuits (registered as Feral Furbiscuits, Inc.) is a service-based 501(c)(3) focused on pet wellcare the northeast. With locations in New York City and New Castle, Delaware, we serve clients in Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester counties in New York, New Jersey, Pennslyvania, Connecticut, and Delaware. In addition to offering pet owners affordable wellcare vet appointments that include door to door transportation, Furbiscuits helps homeless furbabies receive spay/neuter services, vaccinations, and adopts furbabies into loving, vetted forever homes. The work of rescuing cats and returning feral cats to their communities inspired Karolina Swierk and her partner to invent the first-ever fully insulated cat hotel (a 15 cat sleeper) that keeps outdoor cats as warm outside as people indoors without electricity.
