Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…
Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

We are a non profit organisation that relies completely on donations from adoptions and fundraising events so that we can ensure that a dog is healthy and up-to-date with vaccinations, neutered, given worm/flea treatment and that they are treated for any illnesses before rehoming.
The rescue started because of the significant increase in animals being advertised 'free to a good home' on free ad sites. Most of the time checks that are needed to make sure the dog will be safe are not carried out and unfortunately many dogs do not end up in the 'loving environment' that people are led to believe they are going to.
We try to help as many dogs as we can and now the majority of our dogs come from pounds up and down the country who are due to be put to sleep.
