Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…
Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

We are a UK charity that rescues and rehomes Labradoodles, and other Poodle crosses, and provides welfare advice. Labradoodle Rescue UK was created by a group of dog lovers in 2007. Following a rise in popularity of Labradoodles, breeding increased dramatically and we soon realised that there was a need for a specific rescue to help these lovely dogs.
Labradoodle Rescue UK has grown rapidly into a registered charity called Doodle Trust. We see educating the public about Labradoodles as a very important part of what we do. Unscrupulous breeders are continuing to mis-sell Labradoodle puppies as non-shedding and allergy friendly which is very misleading. This is also one of the main reasons Labradoodles are coming into rescue.
