Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…
Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

We are a group dedicated to helping and caring for the welfare and improving the quality of life of abandoned or feral cats in and around Coventry. We respond to calls for help from the public and other organisations, e.g. PDSA, when we are told cats, kittens or families of cats (mum and kittens) are apparently abandoned living in gardens or on the highway, or surviving rough as ferals. We catch the strays and take them to a veterinary centre for an assessment of their condition. They are treated as necessary and checked for an identity chip. If there is no chip, they are placed with fosterers while we make efforts to identify any owners by enquiries in the vicinity or through another local charity called Pet Search. If that fails, we adopt the cats into Coventry Cat Groups care for re-homing.
After neutering, if appropriate, we try to find each cat a loving new home. Kittens that are homed are ALWAYS required to be neutered when old enough. Cats which are not domesticated are relocated where possible at farms or riding stables or returned to their original habitat and arrangements are made for them to be regularly fed.
