Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…
Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

Crawley Reigate and District Cats Protection is run by a small group of volunteers who give their free time to help the cats in their area. We cover Reigate, Redhill, Horley, Crawley, East Grinstead and the surrounding areas. We always welcome new volunteers, no matter how little time you have, or what your skills are we are sure we could find you something to do! You do need to be in our area though. Our aim is to provide safe and loving homes for any cat that needs it, to offer advice and to reunite lost cats with their owners. We believe all cats deserve loving, responsible homes. We homed 402 cats and kittens through our branch last year and helped over 950 cats in total. As a charity, we rely solely on the generosity and kindness of the public to enable us to go on caring for cats and kittens.
Crawley, Reigate & District Branch was formed in 1978 - two of its founding members are still active within the branch. At July 2010, we have around 50 active volunteers and 196 members. Though some of our volunteers are retired, many work full-time and juggle their volunteering with other commitments such as families, home-making, hobbies etc.
