Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…
Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

Our most obvious and most frequent task is taking in cats or kittens from owners who can no longer care for them. We also take in strays and attempt to reunite them with their original owners, if they cannot be traced they are re-homed. We operate a lost and found register. We occasionally take in feral cats to be neutered and then released back into the wild. Some, and particularly semi-ferals, can be rehomed in stables, garden nursery type environments. Any cats we take in which require medical treatment are treated by a vet at our expense so that the cats are fit and healthy when they are re-homed. Provide assistance with the cost of neutering.
