Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!
No-kill shelters do wonderful work, but as a result, are often inundated with pet surrenders. In the unfortunate scenario that you have to find a new home for your pet, please read through the rehoming solution and articles on this page before contacting the shelter.
IMPORTANT: This form is only for public comments about the shelter. To contact Tailless Cat Rescue, please go directly to their website (link on previous page), this form will not send your comment to them.
I have been trying to reach SOMEONE-ANYONE for two days and 1 night. I pulled up the picture of Renea who is supposed to be with a lady named Shelly and it gave me this email address for her. [email protected] I cannot reach her either. I'm so interested in Renea but don't know what else to do to find any information on how to adopt her. I live in Hendersonville, NC which is doable to where Renea is supposed to be. My email address is
[email protected] and my name is judi Stevens-Spencer. Phone--Unlisted phone number is: 828-435-1279. Precious kitty and she would fit in my home very very well. I have a 4 1/2 lb. Yorkie that is 13 years old and loves kitties and cats. I am retired and at home always. Except to grocery shop etc. If I had a mansion I'd probably have more cats and dogs. ETC. ETC. I love wild life as well, so we could watch the birds, chippy's and squirrel's all doing their out door thing. So PLEASE PLEASE CONTACT ME WITH ANY INFORMATION YOU HAVE AND A CONTACT THAT I MAY REACH FOR ALL INFORMATION ON **"RENEA"** Thanking you in advance for your help. And thank you for all you are doing to help all the lost or forgotten animals. judi
