Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…
Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
No-kill shelters do wonderful work, but as a result, are often inundated with pet surrenders. In the unfortunate scenario that you have to find a new home for your pet, please read through the rehoming solution and articles on this page before contacting the shelter.

Samantha townsend is a hoarder and had no business to be running a shelter. The cats there lived in squalor and neglect. She posts lies on facebook claiming a conspiracy against the idea of no kill. No. She is a radical and what gives no kill a bad name.

They were given every chance by pacfa to let pacfa help, but that help was refused. Nokill colorado had also offered help, but was rejected as well due to the owners pride.

Was shutdown and had cats removed by city shelter. Place was rampant with ringworm, distemper, calicivirus, and a host of intestinal parasites. No quarantine for sick animals, cages of sick cats side by side with cages of unvaccinated kittens. No protacols in place to deal with any illness. Medicine was given without the cats seeing a vet. Cats suffered for lengths of time waiting for any treatment or just died in their cages.
