Kya is a Malinois mix who was horribly attacked as a puppy. she still has scars, but is physically, completely healed. Unfortunately, the attack left her untrusting of most other dogs. She could live in a home with a more passive male dog. Kya is slow to warm up to new people, but once you have gained her trust she will play ball with you all day long and then settle in and cuddle. Kya is spayed, fully vaccinated and on heart worm and flea and tick preventative. She is crate and house trained. She was a Valentine's day baby in 2022 (DOB 2/14/22). For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Kya - OH was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Kya - OH’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Kya - OH’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Kya - OH’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
